Union minister Nitin Gadkari has said the long-delayed Mumbai-Goa highway will be completed by June this year, which is expected to bring relief to daily commuters and Konkan-bound travelers who have endured years of pothole-ridden roads.
The Mumbai-Goa highway, commonly known as National Highway 66, has been a subject of expectation and delays for numerous years. Among the many difficulties the project encountered were internal stakeholder conflicts, land acquisition problems, and legal disputes.
